Memorial Weekend 2009 @ the Shabin Part 1
Greetings everyone! Here are a bunch of pics from our trip to the Shabin this past Memorial weekend. It was quite rainy, but fortunately, it wasn't windy like it usually is. We resurrected the old monster playground that was custom designed by Pop and built out of top grade restaurant stainless steel! Once we finally got it all done, we had to go home. However, it will be there for generations to come and to play on. Heck, I even played on it for at least a minute or two. What do you think? Do you likey?

Easter 2009
Easter 2009
Easter weekend we needed to get away. So we decided to go to Wayne County. It wasn't exactly paradise when it was 30 degrees outside. The Easter Bunny found the kids and left eggs all over. The Easter Bunny prepared each kids easter basket in the back of the truck the night before. Danny went to check on them the next morning and noticed a cute little easter bunny bite out of each piece of chocolate that wasn't inside a plastic egg! Danny commented to Karla how cute it was that the easter bunny took a bite out of each one. I swore up and down that it wasn't me and he didn't believe me. After further review of what looked like tiny pieces of chocolate spread all over,we realized it was mice! That's the last time we will ask the easter bunny for help. All in all we had a great time.

We're Back!
Greetings! I think that if you read through our blog entries, you will find a common theme to each post- we never update our blog! Plus, it seems like I apologize for each time that I haven't updated the blog in like...forever. So anywho, here are some pics that reflect what we've been up to over the past number of months. I'm sure that we'll update this again very soon, at least in the next six months or so. We'll see. Until then, I hope you enjoy these pics as much as we enjoyed being in them!

Happy Halloween!!! (belated)

Its about time we wished the blogging world happy halloween! It was SO much fun! We actually wanted to wait until the cavities had a chance to set in the kids teeth. They're just about there! McKay and Karli got loaded up on tons of candy. Usually it takes us like 2 hours to do our neighborhood of about 150 homes. Fortunately this year, we met up with a family that had twins that McKay is friends with and they RAN from house to house. We blew through the hood in no time! Thats my kind of trick-or-treating. Enjoy!
